Principles

JusticeStat sells no personal data, requires no account and collects only what is strictly necessary. The statistics are computed from court decisions published by their producers; they contain no person's name and identify no one.

Traffic measurement

JusticeStat measures its traffic with an in-house tool, without cookies, without storing anything in your browser and without any outside service. For each page view it records: date and time, address and title of the page (without parameters), rank of the page in the visit, origin of the visit (direct, search engine, social network, other website or campaign: type and domain only, never the full address or the words searched), family of device, browser and system, language and screen width, city, region, country, approximate position (rounded to 0.1°), type of network and operator derived from the IP address at the time of the visit, time spent on the page, scrolling, actions (click on an outgoing link or a file, search, form, submission) and loading time.

Your IP address, the full identification of your browser and what you type are never kept. Each page view is recorded separately, with a visitor code for the day, an irreversible fingerprint computed with a salt drawn at random and destroyed every night: this code cannot recognise a visitor from one day to the next or from one website to another. To prevent abuse, a daily counter, computed the same way and erased every night, limits the number of page views recorded per address. Robots are not counted. These data are used only to know and improve the audience of the website (legitimate interest of ALTI SAS). They are combined with no other processing, passed only to the traffic-monitoring tool of ALTI SAS and kept for 25 months at most.

Your right to object to traffic measurement

You may object to traffic measurement at any time. The « Do Not Track » and Global Privacy Control signals of your browser are respected automatically: if one of them is on, your page views are not counted. You may also send your request through the contact form.

Contact form

If you write through the contact form, JusticeStat records your name, your e-mail address, your message, the page you write from and the date. This information is used only to answer you (legitimate interest of ALTI SAS), is passed to no one and is erased after 365 days at most. To limit unsolicited messages, an irreversible fingerprint of your IP address, computed with a salt drawn at random and destroyed every night, is kept for 2 days at most; the address itself is never kept.

Settings stored in your browser

The website stores in your browser (local storage), without any identifier, the fact that you closed the information banner, so as not to show it again for 6 months. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings.

Advertising

The website shows no advertising and sets no advertising cookie.

Hosting, delivery and technical logs

The website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland), a country recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection. It is delivered by the network of Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which processes the IP address of each request to route and protect the pages. Fonts, icons and scripts are served from the website itself. For security, the host and Cloudflare keep technical connection logs on our behalf (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type), for the period their commitments and the law require.

Court decisions

The website does not publish decisions and processes no personal data from them: it only shows statistics aggregated by court, subject and year.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection. As page views are recorded without an IP address or a lasting identifier, they generally cannot be traced back to yours. To exercise your rights or ask a question, please use the contact form.
